Lance acquired an Associate’s degree in Architectural Drafting and Design from the Community College of Denver in 2011 and a Bachelors of Environmental Design in Architecture from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2016. While studying abroad in Barcelona, Spain in 2015 he explored building design that incorporated scientific methods and energy production in architectural and landscape design at the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC). Restoration and preservation were a focus of study while in Germany, Italy, Greece, and Morocco. Construction detailing, with constructability in mind, comes easy for Lance with experience in local design-build of custom homes along the Front Range. When not at the office Lance can be found exploring Colorado’s mountains, modifying vehicles, or covered in saw dust.
