Re-planning of interior floor plan to improve livability and desirability as a home functioning in the 21st century. Non-historic portions of the house were modified at the home-owners discretion, while maintaining clear delineation of the non-historic forms and exterior finishes. A 24-inch historic stone masonry wall is featured within the kitchen, while also exposed to the exterior. Historic window openings discovered during the rehabilitation were recreated based on evidence within the wood framing.
