Mountain City Historic Park - Black Hawk, Colorado
Phase I Restoration - Completed in Spring 2001
With the growth of the gaming industry in Black Hawk, many basic town services have been displaced. Mountain City Historic Park was conceived to re-introduce some of these services back into the environment. The intended uses of these relocated historical structure include: museums, a coffee shop and bakery, an ice cream parlour and candy store, a Black Hawk Visitor's Center, an art gallery, and various gift and curio shops.
The Stevenson House and Carbis House are complete. The City of Black Hawk, Public Works Department has moved into the Stevenson House. The Carbis House is ready for occupancy.
Phase II Restoration
The Reeves House and the White House are currently under construction/renovation by Benson Construction. These two houses are scheduled to be completed by November 2001.
